Fall its here full force with seasonal squash like pumpkin, butternut squash and Acorn are out for grabs to create your favorite recipes like bake acorn. Who will not want to savor on a savory acorn bake with simple ingredients but yet taste so delicious just like mother nature wanted us to receive it. This vegetable is low in fat and a good source of fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, and beta-carotene it also offers potassium, vitamin B6 and iron. Here its my simple yet tasty Acorn recipe.

Cut Acorn in half

Clean out the seeds

Sprinkle generously with Salt and Pepper

Place on a baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes
or until squash its tender.

Final Result

Remember
Always
Beautify Your Plate

Tips: If you want a sweet version of this
Melt 2 Tablespoon of butter
Brush on acorn sprinkle with Brown Sugar
and bake for 40 minutes or until tender.

Enjoy

    1. Completely different from a melon its a vegetable so in order to enhance the flavor you need to add seasoning or sweetness. I comes close to pumpkin if you ever ate pumpkin its familiar to that.
