THE BRUSH AND ITS PURPOSE

Once again my favorite magazine pulls through with tips and helpful information this time about makeup brushes and there purpose on the November issue 2013.  I'm glad to share with you.

 Angled Brush
Makes eyeliner application foolproof-especially when drawing winged looks
with a cream or gel formula. Look for stiff angled synthetic brush that can get close to your lash line.
Blending Brush
Soften any harsh edges and blends powder shadows together effortlessly. Use it in a back and forth motion over lids says Schlip. Look for a thin oval shape with fluffy long bristles.
Blush Brush
Deposits just the right amount of color for a natural-looking flush.
Look for medium size- pointed or dome shape.
Concealer Brush
Sparingly dots and blends concealer on blemishes, also great for hard to
reach areas like your eyes inner corners says
 celeb makeup artist Nick Barose.
Look for a small synthetic flat style that's stiff and narrow with a pointed tip.

Contour Brush
Creates the illusion of higher cheekbones when used to apply bronzer
face powder that's slightly deeper than your natural skin tone.
Look for a medium size angled head that will glide
along the hollows of your cheeks.

Crease Brush
Sweeps powder shadow in the creases of lids to add depth and definition to eyes.
Look for a dome tip with log fluffy bristles
Fan Brush
Sweeps highlighting powder on the tops of cheeks with a very light
touch and prevents shimmer overload, Look for a long flat fanned- out
shape with super soft hair
Foundation Brush
Helps you put on liquid or cream foundation fast and streak free
says Joanna Schlip celeb makeup artist for Physicians Formula, use it in a
crisscross motion for the best results.
Look for a dense flat head with tapered
 synthetic brushes.
Lip Brush
Precisely outlines and fills in lips with lipstick or gloss especially key when
you're applying a bold shade like red or fuchsia. Look for stiff synthetic
bristles and a pointed tip. A retractable brush is purse-friendly
says Valerie Giraud, makeup artist and founder of Antonym Cosmetics.
Powder  Shader Brush
Quickly applies powder shadow all over lids and highlights brow bones.
Look for a dense rounded shape that's medium size.
Powder Brush
Evenly distributes powder foundation or finishing powder all over your
face can also be used to apply bronzer. Look for a big soft dome shape.

You might know this information or you might not hopefully this help on your next
time purchasing makeup brushes.
