BAD EXPERIENCE IN MY COLLABORATION

Hi Ladies and Gentleman, the reason for this post is to inform you
the Bad Experience I had and to alert you not tell you not to do business.

As bloggers its our duty to bring to other bloggers and consumers
the best that we can in reviewing a product.
Is not fair for a blogger or consumer to be mislead to believe
the company is trust worthy.
If they cannot be direct when doing a collaboration.
Who's to say they are honest with the consumer.
Now my advice to you do plenty of research
I apologize for having it on my blog.

The Bad Experience in my collaboration is with:
 Dressale and Angolee.

My advice to all companies

If you do a contract and the blogger
comply with it by doing what
you requested and
all of a sudden an unexplainable
issue happens in your part
like (system, computer etc).
 The blogger who comply
with the instructions
should not be held accountable
for you to use it as an excuse
not to give what you agree
within the written contract.

If that is the case it should be added to
the instructions you send out
 informing the blogger they going
to be held accountable
for your company system not working correctly.

Dressale- A giveaway if you get 200 clicks on items you get to keep it
base on my search and base on them sending me email
not letting me know a list of winners it speak for itself is this a legit giveaway.
Example: Get email from them that states I got 300 clicks but they do not know
if is from my post or their website so I do not get items they also admit
that their system does not always work well.
If that is the case why do they continue doing this giveaway.
Just a thought!!!!!

Here are some scam report about them from consumers

http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Dress-Salecom/internet/Dress-Salecom-BIGGEST-SCAM-ARTISTS-China-Internet-1049129

http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/dressalecom-c428360.html

Here is a post about the a giveaway scam from a blogger

http://shizurawr.blogspot.com/2014/01/announcement-dressale-giveaway-cancelled.html

Is very obvious this company does not communicate with each other
they send an email today a
sking to collaborate
and to add them to my side bar
a different person send me this request. (I CALL IT CRAZY)

Anjolee Collaboration going wrong

Anjolee- Base on their email it state that they could not
get to the landing link through my post.
It was working well on my part and no problem at all
getting to their website when they requested for me
to check it. I did twice and have witnesses fellow
blogger who decided
 to verify on my behalf
 and stated it works.
When I send an email in detail
stating I check it as well as
fellow bloggers who volunteer to help and it works.
That was when the communication stop
and they (Anjolee) did not respond back.
I sent them the email twice...

By them not answering back had me believe
they were scamming me.

I get a email from them now while typing this, 24 hours later responding
to my email in regards to the link and where is the post.
  hmm really...

Who does this in the business world you as the company
request to fix an issue from the blogger
that obviously was working fine,
since you (Angolee) decided not to
respond to the blogger email
 than you act oblivious
to the situation 24 hours later,
like you never got the email and continue
with the same song the Link Not Working.

Is this company for real or this worker whack.

My questions to you guys if you were in my shoes will you
continue doing further business with a company that uses another
inexcusable reason for their way of doing business?
Ridiculous.

A thought !!!how can I prove that they were correct in this matter
since they cannot show prove, of cause not! unless I go
to their company and see the computer where they looking from.
I did the post and all links were working unfortunately
is was not working for them how is it my Fault.
Maybe something was wrong with their system.
The technology we have today they could had
video or taken a picture to proof is not working....
Why should I take their word for it
and not get what I deserve for
my hard work and time is ridiculous and unfair.

Important note
I cannot judge their Jewelry or shipping since I never
got one nor do I know if is worth it or not.
This is base on collaboration with me
 not their jewelry.

So I wasted valuable time in doing a post giving them
plenty of exposure in all my media for nothing.

BE CAUTIOUS AND ALERT
IF YOU DECIDE TO COLLABORATE.

Leave a comment if you ever had a bad experience.

Enjoy your weekend beautiful people.

  1. I do agree with you at some point
I got many emails from Dressale too asking for collaboration
Everytime I checked the mail, there are different name for the position of marketing director
then for 200 clicks incident, I also feel quite suspicious
as we can't check the clicks ourselves from readers to their website
they don't reveal too much of how they trace it and how we blogger traces it too
I didn't do any collaboration with them because of that
and now I aware of it because of your post
    thank you so much

  11. This is awful. I, myself, came across such situation to be honest.
In the end it's gonna cost them. Internet is a crazy place, things spread fast and it will just put a bad name to their company.
As a company, you should work hard to make it more reliable and friendly so that it flourishes your business, this is all just really wrong.

I am not sure I understand everything properly, but it's true, if it's not your fault, they have to take on the responsibility and reward you as agreed. As far as I am concerned if I expect any reward, I will ask for it in advance, this is a very quick and easy way to find out if the company wants your hard work for free or not. Most of them will never respond, because they obviously were trying to stitch you up… If they are honest, why would they not reward you in advance? Most of them are looking for fools! I am happy to do some free work, but when I am doing it for free I know that I am doing it for free, if I expect a payment in whatever shape or form it comes, I would want to get it.

I have been blogging for a few years now and I can recognize a scammer better, I think in the past I was much more naive, now I see how some "brands" (if we can call them like that !) want to take advantage of bloggers giving nothing in return. I have been collaborating with many great brands and people but also had a few bad experiences. About dresssale I get about 20 mails a day asking to collaborate, it's not a good sign and also saw other blogger cancelling their giveaways so I thought something must have happened. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience, sure it will be helpful for many other collegues ! Kisses

On the other hand, I had problems with Romwomen, who said they would offer 10$ credit in their store for a promotional post and once I wrote the article for them, they stopped responding (and I think I emailed 5 times). Also had problems with Aupie, I never received the dress they supposedly sent me, and I always receive everything sent to me. They told me it had returned to them and that they resent. I would suggest to you to make research on any new company you decide to collaborate with first and then take them on board. Also, if you collaborate with any companies, you better do it through a third-party website where the project has been posted, you've been awarded, etc., so they can not postpone from the contract.

  96. WOW, thank you soooo much for sharing this information. I am sorry you had to go thru this, but live and learn and now you can help all of us to not have to go thru the same or similar awful experience. i TOTALLY agree the bloggger should definitely not be held accountable and have the company not live up to its side of the deal just because of some thing happening on the COMPANY'S side. That is soooo ridiculous!!!

    Hope things get resolved!!!

  99. Ugh that is so frustrating! I keep getting emails from them but I always ignore them. I only want to promote companies I really believe in, not companies that scam people. SO sorry you had to deal with that!

  100. I am so sorry to hear this Jackie. It is frustrating and annoying that these companies behave the way they do. What are they trying to achieve by doing this??? It doesn't make sense.

I am very careful when it comes to collaboration. I try to do as much research as I can before saying yes. There is only so much you can do and cannot answer for somebody else.

This was very brave of you to write this post as it ,use have been hard. Please take care xx

  102. So sorry you experienced this. I don't deal with any company that tells me I have to have so many clicks. That's crazy! I've worked with a jewelry company anjolee twice since I've been blogging. I didn't have any problems with them. Hope things get better Jackie ((hug))

  117. Hey Jackie!! Thank you so much for this post and speaking about it because I have experienced something similar with another company. I've actually also had dressale email me multiple (5+) time for a collaboration and I've turned them down each time because I didn't really agree with the terms they set up. I'm glad now that I didn't work with them after reading your post!
It sucks that these comapnies would do this because I expect them to be honest .. at least now we all know what stores to avoid!

  128. I am so sorry you had to go through this! It is such a hassle at times. I recieved many emails from Dressale for a collaboration but I as a rule of thumb, ignore emails which require a particular number of clicks or a set number of users. For me the reason is the time and effort, I would have to put into it all which I can't at this moment with a baby vying for my attention! But, Thank you so much for letting all of us know about these scam websites!

    Have a great day.

  132. Aww Jackie, so sorry that this happen to you. I agree that it should be out there in the open that if the link does not work, they will not pay. It can always be fixed so I don't understand that they don't do business like they should. Well they burn the bridges and now they are exposed. I did not choose to work with dressale since I am kinda iffy with the clicks thing. So hopefully the rest of the collaborations turns out good for you and the rest of us bloggers. Hugs to you...
