BAKED BRIE HONEY WALNUTS AND PEARS

Happy New Year Everyone
Hope is was fun and filled with laughter and love.....
My first post of the Year (2015)
Thank You all for all the kind wishes
so very much appreciated hugs and love right back.

Brie is a cheese originated from France, is flavored
depending on the ingredients you use. Brie it a
versatile cheese that could be eaten with a sweet taste
or savory is a creamy texture made of cows milk
the rind has a graying tint to it but could also be eaten.
They do sell varies of Brie cheese with herb, plain, double
or triple version I bet with other types of milk.
It all comes down to preference.

Brie is one of those cheese I like to serve to my
guest in the all paired with winter or summer
 best fruits.
Is great for a snack or appetizer.

Here is two of many way I like to serve this cheese

The first is Baked Brie Honey Walnuts and Pears

INGREDIENTS

Brie Cheese
4-5 Tablespoon Honey
Pears
1/4 cup of Walnuts

THE BRAND I USE

IMPORTANT NOTES
When serving for myself I slice the Brie cheese with 3 Tablespoon of honey
If serving for guest I use the entire Brie Cheese 4-5 Tablespoon of honey

Directions
Slice Brie Cheese or baked whole, pour the 1/4 cup
of walnuts and drizzle with honey
place in a preheated 350 degree oven
cook for 5 minutes or until cheese get gooey
Slice pears.

Serving Suggestions
Pears
Green Apples
Grapes
Dry Cranberries
Walnuts
Pecans
Cracker
Bread

FINAL RESULT

ENJOY

Another way I like to serve Brie
is by a panini cheese sandwich.

Roasted Pepper Brie Mozzarella Grill Cheese

Ingredients
French bread
1 Slice Mozzarella
2 Slice of Brie Cheese
1/4 Slice or Roasted Pepper
1 Teaspoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (optional)

Directions

Slice French bread brush one side of each with olive oil.
slice roasted pepper one for each sandwich
slice mozzarella one for each sandwich
slice brie 2 slice for each sandwich

Place in the panini press if for any chance you do not own one
you could use a grill pan with non stick spray and place
a heavy pan or pot to press the sandwich down.
Cook to you see grill marks on the bread and cheese starting to melt.

Final Result

ENJOY

  15. Oh, I absolutely love the idea of Brie in a sandwich. I am very new to this cheese, having eaten it for the first time and my MIL's house last month and must say I wasn't the biggest fan of it. Thank you for the idea, Jackie, maybe I'll like it better in a sandwich. xx
