HEALTHY YAMS

Trying to make a sweet 
tasty yams without the
brown sugar took some
time but here it is.
Is delicious and without
the guilt of to much sweet.
Perfect to serve as a side
dish to compliment any meal
also great to serve for your Thanksgiving meal.

HEALTHY YAMS

INGREDIENTS
2 Yams Peeled and Slice
2 Carrots Peeled and Slice
2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1 Teaspoon Fresh Ground Pepper
1 Tablespoon of Organic Agave Nectar

DIRECTIONS
Peeled and Slice the Yams and Carrots in a 
mixing bowl add all the ingredients above
Stir to mix well
In a prepare with non stick spray casserole
lay them in single layers
Cover with aluminum foil
Place in a preheated oven of 350 degree
Bake for 30 Minutes or until tender.

Slice Yams and Carrots 
add Olive oil, Cinnamon, Sea Salt, Fresh
Ground Pepper, and Organic Agave Nectar
Mix well.

  16. That is such a brilliant way to cook yam. Back in Malaysia we usually dip yam in batter and deep fry it, it's usually how we eat yam and it's so bad for health but taste so good!

  33. I've never eaten yams, I don't even know what they really are either. I always thought they were the same as sweet potatoes but someone recently told me they weren't. Your photos though make them look so delicious.
