HELPFUL INFORMATION ABOUT SUBSTITUTION INGREDIENTS

When you substituted an ingredient
Keep in mind the difference in 
Taste,Texture and Weight
Measure accurately.

This substitute ingredients help me.
 When I was like OMG!
I do not have that ingredient,
and trust me it had happen more than once.
Any one that cooks knows what
I'm talking about.


SUBSTITUTION

ALLSPICE
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon Ginger 
and 
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
(Makes- 1 Teaspoon)

ARROWROOT STARCH
1 Tablespoon Flour
(1 Teaspoon)

BAKING POWDER
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2/ Teaspoon
(Makes 1 Teaspoon)

BREADCRUMBS
2 Cup of Croutons
(Makes 1 Cup)

BROTH
1 Bouillon Cube 1 Cup Boiling Water
(Makes 1 Cup)

BROWN SUGAR
1 Cup White Sugar 1/4 Cup Molasses 
(Makes 1 Cup Pack)

BUTTERMILK
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 Cup Plain Yogurt
(Makes 1 Cup)

GARLIC
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
(Makes 1 Teaspoon)

KETCHUP
1 Cup Tomato Sauce Plain
1 Teaspoon Vinegar and 
1 Teaspoon Sugar
(Makes 1 Cup)

DILL PLANT FRESH OR DRY
1 Tablespoon Dill Seed
(Makes 1 Tablespoon)

MARSHMALLOW CREAM
Melt 16 Ounces of Marshmallow
and 3/2 Tablespoon Corn Syrup
In a double Boiler
(Makes 1 Jar)

POULTRY SEASONING
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Sage
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Thyme 
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Rosemary

SAFFRON
Equal amount Turmeric

TAHINI
1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
(Makes 1 Tablespoon)

BALSAMIC VINEGAR
1 Tablespoon Sherry Vinegar
or
Cider Vinegar
(Makes 1 Tablespoon)

WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
1 Teaspoon Bottle Steak Sauce
