LIGHT COD FISH RECIPE

A light dish you will appreciate
made with simple ingredients.
Is perfect to serve in warm
weather when we crave
for easy light meals.

LIGHT COD FISH RECIPE

BENEFITS IN EATING COD FISH
Cod fish is a wonderful substitute for meat
It contains 90 calories
Omega 3
Vitamin B12, B6
Minerals Magnesium 
Keep in mind every fish contains mercury
so eat in moderation.

GOOD TO KNOW
The name Cod comes from where is fish out of
the deep cold Arctic water.

INGREDIENTS
6 lb Cod Fillet (serve 2)
1 Small Shallot Slice
1/2 of Lemon Slice
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon of Lemon Salt and Pepper Combo

1 Tablespoon Dry White Wine (Sauvignon Blanc)
1 sheet of aluminum foil

Here is the link for lemon and pepper salt

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven 400 Degree
Place cod in the aluminum foil packet
Drizzle the cod fish with olive oil
Season with 1 Teaspoon lemon salt and pepper
Add 1 Small Shallot Slice
1/2 of Lemon Slice
1 Tablespoon Dry White Wine
Seal the packet
Cook for 20 minutes
and serve.

IMPORTANT
OVEN VARY KEEP A CLOSE EYE
THIS FISH COOK FAST

ANOTHER METHOD IN COOKING
IT COULD BE COOK ON THE GRILL
ON  GAS GRILL CLOSE LID
NON DIRECT HEAT FOR 15-20 MINUTES
ON CHARCOAL GRILL CLOSE LID
 WHEN THE HEAT IS NOT AS HIGH NON DIRECT HEAT
FOR 15-20 MINUTES


SHALLOTS I USE
FRIEDA'S GOURMET SHALLOTS

DRIZZLE FISH WITH OLIVE OIL
SEASON WITH LEMON SALT AND PEPPER COMBO 

IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS AFTER BEING SEASON

ADD THE SLICE OF HALF LEMON AND
1 SMALL SHALLOT

BAKE IN 400 DEGREE OVEN FOR 20 MINUTES


 ENJOY

SERVE WITH ANY SIDE DISH OF YOUR CHOICE

ALWAYS BEAUTIFY YOUR PLATE!!!
