HEARTY LENTIL HAM SOUP

A Hearty Lentil Ham Soup
is what we need on 
cold days to warm your tummy,

Here its what you going to need

INGREDIENTS
1 Cup of Green Lentils
1 cup of Dice Ham
2 Carrots Peeled and Slice
2 Celery Slice
1 Small Onion Dice
1 Garlic Minced 
1 Teaspoon Thyme
4 Cups of Chicken Broth or Vegetable
1 Teaspoon of Red Vinegar
1 Bay Leave
1 Teaspoon Salt 
1 Teaspoon Fresh Ground Pepper
1 Tablespoon olive oil
Few Sprig of Parsley (Optional)

TOOLS YOU NEED
HAND BLENDER
OR
STAND BLENDER

DIRECTIONS
In a large pan add 1 tablespoon olive oil
sauteed onion until translucent 3 minutes
add garlic cook 2 minutes add vegetables
Carrots, Celery, Ham cook for 4 minutes
mix in the 1 cup of lentils
stir until well incorporated
add 1 teaspoon thyme, 1 bay leave
 and 
the 4 cups of chicken broth
1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon salt and fresh ground pepper
simmer until lentil and vegetable are  semi tender
Using and hand blender blend for 3 minutes 
until it semi thick, cook additional 5 minutes
Remove bay leaf
Garnish with parsley (optional)
Serve and Enjoy

 Cook Vegetables and Ham for 4 Minutes 



Green Lentils

1 Cup Green Lentils

Stir Until Well Incorporated

Add One Bay Leaf

Add 4 Cups of Chicken Broth

Red Wine Vinegar

1 Tablespoon Red Wine Vinegar


1 Teaspoon Salt and Fresh Ground Pepper

Stir and Cook until Beans and Vegetable
are Semi Tender

 This is Semi Tender


Place Hand Blender 
Blend until Semi thick

Continue Cooking for 5 Minutes

Final Result
Garnish with Parsley


Serve and Enjoy
