WHAT!!! BOILING EGGS IN THE MICROWAVE

This recipe was found on Instagram
done by Peapod.

When I first saw this recipe
I was intrigue and excited
to try and see if it really works
Boy! it does.
After you read and see
for yourself
you might not go back to
your old version of boiling
hard boil eggs.
I follow Step By Step

They State you first heat to boil
I show time frame

INGREDIENTS
Water enough to cover the eggs
(I use 2 Cups of Water)
2 Eggs
1 Tablespoon Distilled Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Salt

TOOLS
Microwave
Microwaveable glass bowl
Microwaveable Dish
Oven Mitts

DIRECTIONS
In a microwaveable glass bowl
you add enough water to cover eggs,
I use Two Cups
1 Tablespoon Distilled Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Salt
Cover with microwaveable dish
Bring to boil in the microwave
(I microwave for 5 minutes to bring to boil)
You might use less time or more
(Microwave Vary)
Remove from microwave add the 2 eggs
cover with microwaveable dish
and microwave for additional
3-4 minutes
Let it sit for 8-10 minutes
to get hardboil
If you want semi hard eggs
let it sit 1 minute
Serve

PEAPOD INSTRUCTIONS
Microwave eggs for a total 8 minutes
their recommendation
to let it sit for 8-10 after microwave
for hard boil eggs
after bringing the water to boil.

IMPORTANT
I Boil Water for 5 minutes than
boil eggs for 4 minutes
and let it sit for 1 minute
because I did not want them fully hard
only semi.

  6. I cook my eggs like this all the time. It's very important to add the slat and vinegar to keep the eggs from exploding.

  8. Thanks for this recipe. I always struggle to get the egg boiled just right. I do not like Eggs that are the runny. I love the trick of adding vinegar so the shell comes off easily !

  15. I usually do not boil eggs in the Microwave due to the risk of having splatter(s) which I really hate. I find this recipe/method very intriguing though and would love to try it. Thanks for sharing 😃
